The purpose of the Ghost Rider Progam is to improve transit safety and customer service by establishing a program to exchange independent and knowledgeable feedback with operators and transit systems.

Ghost Riders will anonymously observe the driving safety, passenger relations and host systems performance and practices.

The Ghost Rider Progam is sponsored by the members of the Ohio Transit Risk Pool.

Q.  Are expenses reimbursed?
A. Yes, OTRP has guidelines for expense reimbursement.

Q.  Who are the Ghost Riders?
A.  Seasoned, high performing transit staff from other OTRP members.

Q.  How are the routes selected?
A.  The riders work with the host transit to maximize the two day period.

Q. How is feedback provided?
A.  The Riders complete a form including 35 areas of observation.  Additionally,
      the rider will give general comments based on their own transit experience.

Q.  How often do rides occur?
A. On average, transits will participate two times a year.
